This morning, I spent a little time editing a few photos that I never got around to. You know the deal, my life is just soooo busy! ;) Aka, I never got around to it. Truth be told, I shouldn’t even be doing this right now, I have a stack of laundry so high I could probably throw some snow on it and charge people an admission fee to go skiing down it. But who wants to do laundry when you can sit on your tushy and play in Photoshop for hours on end?

These two are from my past California trip that I blogged about a little while bank. But they’re different! As in black and white. These make me wish I lived by the ocean. I would open up a small surf shop and drink mojito’s on a regular basis. Instead, I’m freezing, wearing a granny robe and have  really bad bed head. Should I be admitting this?

I just started photography as a hobby this year and I fell in love with it instantly. I was handed a camera back in January and I haven’t stopped shooting since.  It was the best gift I have ever been given! Photography really makes you look at everything around you in a new light. I now view everything as a possible photo-op.

Here are a few pictures I took at the beach back in March. The beach was freezing, especially with the wind coming off of the water. That being said, it’s the perfect time of year to go since no one was around. It was really calm and I tried to reflect that in the pictures I took. I’m really happy with the way these turned out. There’s no place better than the ocean!

I’d love to see your photographs as well. Leave me a comment to share!
