This morning, I spent a little time editing a few photos that I never got around to. You know the deal, my life is just soooo busy!
Aka, I never got around to it. Truth be told, I shouldn’t even be doing this right now, I have a stack of laundry so high I could probably throw some snow on it and charge people an admission fee to go skiing down it. But who wants to do laundry when you can sit on your tushy and play in Photoshop for hours on end?
These two are from my past California trip that I blogged about a little while bank. But they’re different! As in black and white. These make me wish I lived by the ocean. I would open up a small surf shop and drink mojito’s on a regular basis. Instead, I’m freezing, wearing a granny robe and have really bad bed head. Should I be admitting this?

I think it’s safe to say we are obsessed with Halloween in our household. Actually, I’m pretty sure it’s my boyfriend Pat who’s obsessed but I go along for the hilarious ride. Every year our haunted garage seems to get bigger and bigger. Last year we built an electric chair and it was done up to the nines! Flashing lights, smoke and an awesome actor. (Hi Thom!) He pretended to be fake until the kids walked up to him and the when all H-E double hockey sticks broke loose. You have to watch this video, I’ve been laughing at it for a solid year and still find it just as funny as the first time I saw it.
I’ll be taking more video this year since I am now a proud owner of a FlipCam. Can we say baller?! I’m going to try to post them on Monday, I hope we get something as good as this again!
Is anyone else out there this obsessed with Halloween?
PS, that’s my mother who yells out at the end. Some may say she has a big mouth…no wonder who I take after.
I’ve been neglecting my poor blog for over a month now. Shame on me! I’ve recently started going back to school and on top of that, I decided it would be a great idea to take Interior Design non-credit courses a few days a week. The classes are fun and really interesting but we hand in a big project/presentation every two weeks. I’ll have to do another post to show you what I’ve come up with later on. I’ve also been taking Event Management classes at UMASS to finish up my Bachelors Degree. Oh yes, I work full time as well. It’ll all be worth it in the end! But anyway, that’s why I’ve been neglecting my once budding baby blog…maybe there was a hint of laziness in there too. Shh! I promise I’ll be better about it!
Since I’ve been gone, Fall has come out in full force and I am in love! Anyone who knows me know I can’t stand the heat of summer. I would much rather be cold than hot any day. Besides the heat, we get to decorate for Halloween, go apple picking and every morning I make a hot cup of apple cinnamon tea. Life doesn’t get much better! Every year, there’s a big fair at the beginning of fall and for the first time, I decided to bring my camera with me. Here’s a few shots of what I captured. The first being my favorite, you can see the pure joy in the little girl that has her arms spread like she’s flying. I didn’t notice that until I got home and saw the bigger image on my computer. Love her!
What are your favorite activities for Fall?
